Tomorrow is the last day of my Summer vacation, and as I look back I can say we didn’t “do” all that much. And that’s just what I needed.

Independence Day Reflection
Today is the celebration of American Independence and the beginning of the American Ideal. We’ve struggled to live up to it over the years, and failed great deal, but this is the first time in my lifetime we seem to have decided the ideal itself might be a bad thing.
Changing Habits
Monday night we wound up in the mall and my son and I decided to explore the local Apple Store.
