The Art of Forgiveness

When we are offered an opportunity to show a millionth part of the understanding and grace that Brandt Jean showed in that courtroom, push the system to the corner where it belongs and show it. Let’s just stop saying, “Isn’t it great that he did that?” and start doing it ourselves.


Forgiveness is a difficult thing. It’s difficult because we want to make it about the person we’re forgiving, but it’s really about who we are and who we serve.


Tonight Central Baptist a mid-week Lent soup supper and worship for our Tri-Boro Ministerium. The theme of the evening was “forgiveness” which, given the subject of our Lenten discussion group, seemed even more appropriate than normal.
