I used a window of opportunity during a break in some insane rain we got today and headed down to Palmyra Nature Cove. Two deer met me near the beginning of the trails, and stood still as I crept close enough to capture a decent image. It’s fascinating how such “wilderness” creatures can live so easily in a mostly urban setting. All they need is a bit of space and they manage to figure it out.

The “wilderness” is never far away, neither in nature nor in our own spiritual journeys. When we enter it, we need just a bit of space – and God helps us work through it.
