Spring in the step

on

After a week of clouds it’s been nice to see the Sun 1. The last two days I’ve been out with my camera as the Sun began to dip toward the horizon 2, and captured some of my first “green” images of the growing season.

Tree bark continues to fascinate me, especially Oak Tree Bark. It has such wonderful textures, and when the Sun is lower on the horizon it creates some excellent shadows. Maybe this Summer I’ll play around with capturing tree bark in full manual. I’d love to see what I could capture if I got the hang of controlling every setting on the camera!

With your camera and me with my brush, we will explore summer’s beauty. OK?
