Unpacking Border Crossing

Will and company have returned to The Realm, only things are quick what they had in mind. Let’s unpack.

Political Evil

On a normal Wednesday I’d been unpacking yesterday’s fiction piece, but this is not a normal Wednesday. It’s not normal because yesterday the President of the United States rescinded an executive order which prevented the children of undocumented immigrants, brought into this country through no fault of their own, from being deported.

Fiction Tuesday – Border Crossing

It took just over two hours to make their way from The Bar’s encampment and through the pass. Several checkpoints had to be cleared, and they were forced to halt twice while a few stragglers shot at their vehicles. Will was relieved when the walls of the surrounding mountains climbed up around their transports, it meant they’d soon be entering The Realm.

Last night my neighbor and I headed out to Cooper River Park after Sunset. There, on a bridge which crosses the lazy river, we had a brilliant view of Center City Philadelphia.
