To my readers in the United States. This blog’s been fallow for a while, but I could never bring myself to shutter it. What’s happening right now is the reason why. Please understand, this year you have a choice between Dictatorship and Representative Democracy. That’s your vote.

One choice keeps the American Experiment alive.

This means there will be things like drag story time. THIS IS NOT A BAD THING. Why? Because actual freedom of expression is the same right that guarentees the free exercise of religion, assembly, and to hold government accountable. It doesn’t matter if you don’t like it. When rights, which the constitution does NOT grant (it affirms them), are taken from one group they are taken from EVERY group.

One choice ends the American Experiment.

This means you will not be represented, you will be ruled. Project 2025 is a road map to one party ideological rule. It doesn’t matter if you agree with what it says it will give you. Once ideological purity is established as a default your rights will be taken way to match whatever the purists decide fits their interests while excusing their own behavior. We’re already seeing this done, with reproductive rights being taken from women while SCOTUS declares immunity for the President. If you want to know what having a strong-man government looks like, where dissent from the accepted norm is punished, look at Russia. And then walk the opposite way.

That’s it, that’s your choice this election. Debate performance and age are irrelevant. Other issues, important as they may be to us as individuals, are secondary. Why? Becuase the American Experiment has to continue if we’re going to have hope to keep addressing our grievences with the government.
