No, I didn’t actually get this call, but I’ve gotten some close to it! This strip sprang from a recent youth ministry event I attended where I felt the presenter kept using the word “contextual” but it kept on meaning “gimmick.”
Sometimes, I just feel inadequate. Â Actually, most times I feel inadequate. Â Given the monumental task pastors face I honestly think this is perhaps the most healthy mind-set to have. Â The trick is seeing the “L” and saying, “Yup, that’s me. Â Please be real in me Jesus, ’cause I just can’t do this.”
