Baptism Reflections

Well, I’m teaching a baptism class over the next eight weeks.  I’ve never been happy with the way I’ve taught baptism classes so I revamped the class for this set of candidates.  One of the exercises that the candidates are supposed to be practicing are reflections on the various passages I’ve got them reading each week.  I have no idea what their reflections will be like, so there’s a bit of fear and trepidation going into this, but I wanted to invite my readers here to check out Central Baptist’s web site and follow what’s going on.

I followed the link which took me to the church website. There I found a post about the wii tornament from Feb. and listings from the Christmas service, and a quiz about what I like best about fall. This is pretty sad! I know you have been looking for a group to update the website, maybe we can persue this again on Monday? I will help, with instruction (Lots of instruction, te he he!). Anyway, where can I find what I was suppose to find? (Like that made a lot of sense).

Yes, very sad – very sad indeed. Yet, we still have people visiting because we have the “best” web-site of the churches they’ve looked at – so that makes me happy.

Yes, on Monday we might talk about this. I obviously don’t have time to run the whole shebang (though the calendar ought to be auto-updating now, which I find cool). When the baptism candidates start posting, their reflections will show up on the front page.
