Mother’s Day Sunset

We had unending rain yesterday, which made Saturday a bit of a “meh” afternoon. Sunday, on the other hand, has been rather nice. I was able to head out with my neighbor on a nice photowalk and capture a choppy Delaware River. We did have heavy band of rain pass through in the late afternoon, but that gave way to Sun and clouds. So my neighbor and I headed back down to the river to capture the Sunset.

The colors weren’t as brilliant as I was hoping, but there were some nice hues, and a lovely reflection on the pulsating river. The diagonal clouds give the impression this might be a double-exposure, but it’s not. The sky wore a diagonal cut across its face.
