I took this on our Memorial Day walk down by the river. I’d actually framed a similar photo the day before, but deleted the photos in a fit of sleep-deprivation stupidity. I was happy to have a second opportunity in a similar light as the day before.
The photo below looks good in color, but there was something about the texture which begged to be developed in black and white. I love the way the shadows form off of the weathered texture of the wood.
