It’s Wednesday, random thoughts time!

1. I watched most of the first Avengers movie last night. It’s amazing how much I still enjoy the ride, even though I know how the story unfolds over the next decade.
2. Rhys Hoskins was an RBI machine until the Gabe Kapler regime messed him up. I harbor a grudge over this, and many other terrible uses of analytics.
3. I’m unimpressed with people who try to impress me.
4. Black Lives Matter. Don’t forget this.
5. I know people mean well, but if you need to guilt-trip folks into voting the way you want it betrays a lot of insecurity.
6. Central now has a registered Zoom account. I held out as long as I could.
7. I have absolutely zero respect for Conservative Evangelicalism as a movement. It’s poison.
8. No, I don’t think we need a “religious left.”
9. Christian doctrine should emerge from worship, not the other way around.
