If you’ve had a conversation with a Christian who is freaking out about the end times since Tuesday’s election, you need to read this post over at Lingamish.  Actually, even if you haven’t had a conversation, you need to read this post.  Seriously.  Here’s my favorite quote…

We don’t just look like a bunch of kooks. We are a bunch of kooks. I’d be willing to put up with Christians speaking out on the election if they displayed the slightest semblance of a biblical worldview and a marginal ability to exegete a Biblical text. But they don’t.

The post does use some language that might hurt it’s effectiveness in communicating to folks who don’t already agree with the author, and that’s a shame, but I hope people look into the mirror after reading it.
