In Fog

This morning South Jersey was covered in a stunning fog. So, after dropping my wife off at work, I grabbed my camera and headed up to take some photos. The Sun was soon rising, which would have diminished the halo effect around the street lights which I found most interesting, so I ran up the street without my tripod or wireless trigger. It hindered what I was able to do, but I was still happy with the results. My favorite shot is below, which I converted into black and white to highlight the awesome way the light was bouncing off the brown autumn leaves.

Street light in fog.

Was that circle of light showing through. The branches the sun shrouded by fog.?

no sun, the halo is the streetlight.

  4. Oh yes! The black and white is stunning, but I can’t help but wonder how the original color turned out. ๐Ÿ™‚
