Church At Night

I was out picking my daughter up at school Saturday night and noticed the Methodist Church down the street from me has some rather cool uplighting. So upon my return I texted my neighbor and we headed out to see what we could capture 1. It was fun, and the G7 was a champ.

My favorite shot is below. I got a low angle of a cross and converted it to black and white. Had my hands not been getting cold I would have gone even lower to the ground to see how much of the steeple I could bring into frame, but I’m pleased with what I managed to capture.

  1. I also let the local Lutheran pastor know, since he’s got a new camera and a really good eye, but the invite was kludged on my end.

Beautiful ! Inspiring ! You and G7 capture wonderful and interesting shot. I see where you get your short stature from and good looks.

  2. The Lutheran pastor said no? Well that’s no surprise. We’re all curmudgeons. 🙂

      No, he was just busy.

      Kidding!
Lutheran humor: awkward, with lots of shouting. 🙂
