It’s Cold

on

It’s cold in the Delaware Valley. Not Minnesota cold, mind you, or Chicago cold 1. But cold nevertheless.

I also got about 2 hours of sleep last night 2, and the combined cold and lack of sleep sent me into general hibernation on Thursday. I did emerge long enough to head out to CVS and drop in for a pastoral visit 3. Because I knew the river would look pretty cool after the cold snap we’ve been having, I took my camera along for the ride. I did manage to get a few photos, but I had neglected to pack either a hat or gloves for my excursion and the wind was quick to send me scurrying back to my car.

The ice hadn’t reach all the way out to the channel just yet, but after tonight I’m sure the ice flows are going to be even more pronounced.
