Here’s some random thoughts for the day, with exactly zero commentary. A friend of mine posts things like these on Facebook from time to time and I figured I’d add to the fun.

1. Spruce Ales are delicious.
2. A beautiful narrative brings tears of joy to my eyes.
3. I am excited beyond belief for Star Trek: Picard’s release tomorrow.
4. The constant social warfare between “activists” and “the privileged” often makes me want to stop speaking with anyone.
5. I make jokes in meetings to relieve the stress of being in a confined space with a group of people.
6. I don’t read as much as I used to.
7. I’m going to a retreat soon which will have extended periods of silence. This sounds like a slice of heaven.
8. I have never experienced a “runners high.”
9. I sometimes wonder if I’m the only one who sees the irony in the phrase, “Only the Sith deal in absolutes.”
10. Sometimes when I’m so wound up I have no words to pray, I take solace in the fact that there are friends speaking for me.
