Wednesday, time for random thoughts!
- I do have some celebrity fixations–I have watched a great many of yesterday’s Star Trek panels, for example–but I find celebrity Christianity perplexing.
- If I got back into any sort of rhythm for a workflow I might weep tears of joy.
- Perhaps the most pastoral thing I did yesterday was live stream a video of me trying some cacao that was both roasted and brewed like coffee. Pastoring is weird.
- Sometimes Bump puts toys away just fine. Other times, not so much.
- Brewed Cacao is rather tasty, but it’s expensive.
- I kind of miss “appointment TV,” but binging a season in a few days is also kinda nice.
- Can anyone explain why Goldfish crackers are so addictive?
- People have referred to our having Bump as “starting over.” I get it, but I don’t think it’s correct. We aren’t starting over because we aren’t the same people.
- Has anyone else noticed that the people who tell you everything you’re doing is wrong are the same people who go ballistic when they happen to be critiqued?
- The boats sinking in the Trump boat parade has to be one of the most perfect things I’ve seen in a long while. I am relieved no one was injured, but talk about a real-world lesson in how their ideology works.
