Random Thoughts #96

Ah Wednesday. The day when I unleash my swirling mass of brainwave on my readers and bring both confusion and clarity. These are random thoughts.

  1. Last Thursday the Bearfoot Marauders cornered the group organizer’s mentor and demanded some answers about “what’s really going on.” So I had to speak the creation myth of this world, which had been bouncing in my head for weeks, for the first time. It was fun, and now I’m writing a fuller version 1.
  2. I’m having a lot of fun making multi-level maps using some new FoundryVTT modules. I’m still learning the process, but it’s pretty dang cool.
  3. Critical Race Theory is not being taught in public schools, pass it on.
  4. I continue to be baffled by the Eagles’ defensive “strategy,” because it seems to be, “Don’t get in the way of the other team.”
  5. We had just under 30 people who were physically present for worship on Sunday. There was chatter before we began. We’ve had conversations happening, of course, but this was the first time I heard the background hum of chatter since March 2020.
  6. I’ve said it before, but it must be acknowledged again. The way Central Baptist has rolled with this pandemic is a great joy for me.
  7. Aaron Rodgers is not “being persecuted like Jesus. I really wish people would stop using Jesus as a justification for their jackassery.
  8. Let’s Go Flyers.
  9. If a GM sets up a shop, and nobody goes there, does it really exist?
  10. Covid Vaccines are not, “experimental.” I keep hearing this talking point blurted out and it makes my head explode.
  11. My Christmas list this year is a bunch of Tabletop Role Playing games and books I can try out and review for my channel 2.

  1. I even got to use two voices, since two NPC’s were telling it.
