Sabbath Haiku

A bit achy, and a tad bit anti-social, after a long day Saturday and wonderful worship Sunday morning. I slept the afternoon away and wrote the Haiku to commemorate the occasion.

Long day yesterday.
Slept the afternoon away.
It was glorious.

This is a photo taken of myself, my “shutter buddy” 1, and his daughter about 1/3 of the way up the trail 2.

  2. My children didn’t feel like going along, their loss. ↩
