Catching my breath

On Tuesday I was driving back from ABCNJ, stopped at a stoplight, when someone decided stopping wasn’t really their “thing.” No one was hurt, thank God for that, but my car is currently out for significant repairs. Most people who look at the damage believe the driver was going anywhere between 30 and 40 miles per hour.

Needless to say, this put me in a rather distracted and rotten mood.

Today, however, I was able to accompany my friend to the local ballpark, where a vendor demonstration was being held for WB Mason (it’s a local business supply company). I love going to the ballpark for any reason, and this was an especially nice time. We got a free meal, acquired some nice samples, and even got to take a tour of the Phillies clubhouse, dugout, and press room. My friend was even able to shag some fly balls and take batting practice. That was cool.

So I had one shot taken of me standing at the rail of the Phillies dugout. It was one of those “little kid dream come true” moments. After a cruddy beginning of the week, it was nice way to catch my breath.
