Days off are for writing and running errands. Sometimes I get to do both at the same time. Today is one of those days.
Our car has been making odd noises when accelerating, most prevalent when we first turn on the car in the morning. Today the noised became so loud I decided to bring the car to our dealer 1 to be looked at. The problem is because it’s a “cold issue” the service department is trying to get the car as cold as possible to hear what we hear.
So I’ve been here for a few hours waiting for my car to get checked out. But I also have my iPad and a good wifi connection, so I’ve written both the next chapter in In The Land Of The Penny Gnomes and the subsequent unpacking 2.
Given everything I have to accomplish for ABCNJ’s Annual Session this weekend, being afforded the time to write while I hang-out in a dealer’s waiting room may actually be a gift.
Good job of slowing down. Some times we are force to take a break’, take advantage..
