Get Moving, Turkeys!

My wife arrived home from work this afternoon, took Bump, and ordered me to get my camera.

“The turkeys are on our lawn!”

Wild turkeys have a growing population in Palmyra, but they’ve not made too many appearances on my block 1. Having them in our yard was an excellent opportunity.

The turkeys weren’t fond of the locale, so they wandered up the church driveway and decided to perch on our ramp’s railing. They posed there, mocking the “no tresspassing” signs I really do not like.

  1. People who live on properties where the Turkeys like to visit would say we’re lucky. Wild Turkeys aren’t good neighbors.
