I got out to take a short walk this afternoon, and of course I brought my camera.

It was a beautiful Spring day, and the wind was creating some stunning whitecaps on the river ¹. On my way back from the riverbank I came across these lovely daffodils, and took a few moments to capture the flower pictured in the image below.

Flowers remain a struggle for me to develop well, as their intense colors and/or brilliant white are easy to blow out. I was pleased with the way I was able to recover some details in the white petals, and even bring out the yellow hues in the floral tube ².
