I’ve shown images of this weather vane, which is perched on top of the house across from ours, before. It’s a neat subject for photography, though my view of it is beginning to be blocked by the young shade tree that was planted in our yard ¹. This was my first opportunity to capture it with my adapted Minolta lens, and I was able to capture a few images right as “golden hour” was hitting. These would have been a bit nicer without the tree in the way, and if the weather vane was angled just a bit differently, but I was still happy with the reflections off of this weathered ² subject.
