Random Thoughts #143

on

Two days late, and fifty cents short 1. These are random thoughts.

  1. The Phillies actually pulled off. So of course their first playoff game in eleven years starts during my “Oh look, I’m a taxi” time of day.
  2. Short Basic Fantasy RPG session last night, but the party got some nice stuff out of the dragon’s hoard.
  3. I’ve been feeling really low energy, and thought maybe it was just me. A conversation yesterday “out and about” let me know I’m actually feeling the wide-spread burn out coming from many directions. Not sure what to do about this.
  4. We’re still trying to raise $30,000 for Central’s roof.
  5. The Painfully Hopeful Blog will be ending soon, but the random thoughts will continue.
  6. What was the greatest thing before sliced bread?
  7. Doing a slow trek through the Gospel of Mark has been interesting so far, and I’m only scratching my way into chapter 3.
  8. My 5e table got a lot closer to the Big Bad Evil Guy last week. The current campaign is winding to a close.
  9. I’m going to be running a one shot TTRPG fund raiser for the Central’s roof. That’ll be fun, and I get to try out a new system for it. Right now we’ll have three tables running 2. In the future, I may do some online sessions, as well.
  10. To my friends who lost loved ones this week, I am here for you.

  1. I don’t have a dollar.
  2. Tickets available soon!
