In general, I have a difficult time trusting people. Folks may say this is an odd character trait for a pastor, but I’d contend that, on the whole, this has been a boon for me.

I think I will setting on Wednesday’s being “random thoughts” days for a bit. These are (mostly) unconnected thoughts, offered with no explanation. It is much more difficult to do than you might think!
Retreat
This week I’ll be heading to an overnight clergy retreat. What I’m most looking forward to is the silence.
