I’m not sure where we acquired this delightful plant, but I’m glad we have it. The two stalks branch out and downward before angling back into the main trunk, forming the shape of a heart. The shape, along with the wonderful shades of pink and red, make this a beautiful subject for photography.
I left the plant on our back porch as I captured these photos. This gives a more austere feel to the backdrop, but it brings out the beauty of nature in the foreground. I captured this photo about twenty minutes after 1, so the light was naturally harsh, but it was filtered by the trees behind our back yard. I’m pleased how it turned out.

A wonderful. Reminder to all who pass here that Love grows here
Beautiful composition!
Thanks!
