I captured this photo on a walk last week. I’ve lived in this town for fifteen years and walked down that road dozens of times, but I have not once noticed this mile marker. Before the end of the summer I’m going to set my car up at that point, reset the trip on our car’s odometer, and see where mile eleven is. I think I know, but it’ll be fun to see if I’m right ¹.
