Wednesdays are a time when I enjoy throwing people into the tumultuous spin cycle that is my mind. Welcome to random thoughts.
- I’m not a beach person. In fact, I do not understand beach people in the slightest 1.
- I enjoy being kind, and offering reassurance, to stressed out servers.
- Furnacetown is a cute, off the beaten path, historical site on the Eastern Shore. Well worth checking out.
- On Tuesday I finally took the Cape May-Lewes Ferry. That was fun.
- I’ve been unburdened from preaching for three weeks. It might seem odd to church folks but I have not missed it. It’s been a rough season and this break has been good.
- I don’t have a “career.” I’ve toyed with the idea of having a “career,” but I find the concept distasteful and tend to distrust “career path” clergy. I’ve got a calling, it leaves me with the misfits.
- 2020 did nothing to improve my attitude about crowded places. If I see a line I’m doing something else 2.
- If you can’t bring yourself to get a vaccine to help protect the immune-compromised, do not talk to me about your faith. I don’t want to hear it.
- This week I picked up the PDF’s of the same D&D Basic and Expert Sets I started with back when I was a kid. Old School Essentials presents the same rules in 100% compatible format that’s better organized 3, and Basic Fantasy RPG encapsulates the majority of those rules to form it’s own system, but there’s something about seeing the books, and the artwork, I remember from my youth.
- The first thing I get on my first visit to any ice cream sho is a Chocolate Milkshake. I figure if that gets messed up I don’t want to go back.
