Yesterday Bump decided he wanted to get up around 5:30 AM and play. At home this is not a big deal, I just bring him downstairs and we’ll eat a quick breakfast and play. At Grandma and Grandpa’s, though, it’s a little bit more complext than that. Especially when nine other people are in the house!

Bump had a nice breakfast, and my wife and I joined him, but then playing was a bit difficult. The basement play area was occupied, his older brother was sleeping on an air mattress in the living room, and all the other adults were still asleep. So jumped in the shower quick as my wife kept Bump occupied and then I took him for a walk.

The cool thing about the walk was that I was in the town where my wife grew up – Palmyra, PA.
